She started exploring all the sounds the piano may make (including elbow compositions) at age five.
Her cousin Sophie showed her guitar chords when she was 13.
Her parents instilled a love of European Classical music into her by playing classical public radio every morning and taking her to hear numerous concerts.
Her Dad introduced her to Jazz with her big band playing Grandfather's record collection.

Her musical adventures have taken her around the world from studying classical piano in North Carolina and Aspen, to playing piano in a bar in Sevilla with Flamenco musicians; from studying Avant-Garde electronic music in California, to Turkey to make sound design for a dance/theater company; from living in LA scoring films, to Dakar soaking in African music.

She especially loves long hikes, swimming in the ocean, reading, honesty, cooking, and horseback riding.
