Christina has loved music all of her life. She started taking piano lessons when she was three. She always loved listening and dancing to music with her mom, dad and brother. (Ravel’s Bolero was a particularly exciting dance to watch, although Electric Avenue and Riders on the Storm were quite popular too.) Making inventions was a pretty popular pastime too (especially musical instruments like guitars made from a plank and rubber bands). At a later age, she became interested in composing music. Mostly influenced by music’s power in film, she began writing piece after piece on piano. Around the same time she found her dad’s classical guitar tucked away in his closet and began plucking around on it. Soon after she began guitar lessons, and before she knew it she was in bands playing rock and jazz. Christina went on to study electronic music composition at Oberlin Conservatory of Music and California Institute of the Arts. Nowadays, she enjoys composing, jamming with friends at get-togethers, and playing loud guitar with really great 80’s cock-rock effects.

Other interests of Christina include: gymnastics, martial arts, drawing, hiking, cooking, bad tv, dancing, people watching.
